One summer night Bear and his friend Little Bird sat

down to watch the moon.

在一個盛夏夜，

小熊和他的朋友小鳥坐在樹下賞月。

After a while Little Bird said:”I think I feel hungry.”

“Me too,” replied Bear. “And you know what I wish?

I wish I could just jump up and take a bite out of the

moon.Mmmmmmm,how delicious that would be!”

“How do you know?” chirped Little Bird. “Maybe the

moon doesn’t taste good at all. Maybe it tastes terrible!”

過了一會兒， 小鳥說：“我覺得肚子很餓?！?

“我也餓?！毙⌒艽鸬?。“你知道我的愿望么?

我希望爬上月亮咬一口月亮蛋糕充饑。

嗯, 那該多美味啊!”

“你怎么知道月亮蛋糕會好吃呢?”小鳥說道。

“或許它一點也不好吃?；蛟S是非常難吃呢?！?

Bear thought for a moment.

Then he went inside and got his bow and arrow.

With apiece of string,

he attached a spoon to the arrow.

小熊想了一會兒。

接著他回家找了弓箭。

他用一根繩子把一個勺子固定到箭上。

Then he went outside again

and shot the spoon at the moon.

接著他走了出來，

把勺子射向月亮。

“I knew that wouldn’t work,” said Little Bird.

“The moonis just too far away.

What you need is a rocket ship.”

“Then I shall build one!”said Bear.

The very next day Bear went to the junkyard and

bought everything he thought he would need to build

a rocket ship.

“我就知道這樣做不行，”小鳥說道。

“月亮離我們太遙遠。你需要一艘火箭飛船。

“那我就建一架飛船?！毙⌒苷f道。

第二天，小熊去了廢物場，

買了在他看來建一架飛船需要的所有材料。
